主要从事碳化硅、高熵陶瓷等新型无机膜材料的微结构设计、放大制备和应用研究,聚焦低碳膜材料制备和膜应用过程及其智能设计与制造。主持国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金青年项目、江苏省自然科学基金青年项目等,参与 (含完成) 国家自然科学基金创新群体项目和面上项目、新加坡自然科学基金CRP项目、江苏省重点研发计划项目等;研究成果发表SCI论文80余篇,累计引用4000余次,其中以第一/通讯作者在Water Res.、J. Membr. Sci.、Chem. Eng. J.、J Adv Ceram 等发表论文40余篇,申请中国发明专利20余件 (已授权6件、转让1件)、美国专利2件;在全球华人化工论坛、新加坡国际水周、亚太膜学会会议、先进陶瓷国际会议、先进陶瓷高峰论坛、全国膜与膜过程学术报告会、全国膜技术青年科学家峰会等国内外学术会议作邀请报告等20余次;入选江苏省科协青年科技人才托举工程、江苏省科技副总、南京工业大学青年才俊拓原工程等。担任中国化工学会过滤与分离专业委员会青年委员、Journal of Advanced Ceramics期刊助理编辑、《低碳化学与化工》和Nano Material Science等学术期刊青年编委,兼任广东省、山东省等省级科技项目评审专家、江苏省科技咨询专家。 在人才培养方面,注重激发学生主观能动性,侧重过程和内涵式培养:指导本科生以第一作者发表SCI论文,硕士研究生获评优秀硕士学位论文,多名学生毕业后成功保研(或考研)到中国科学院大学、天津大学、华东理工大学、中国科学技术大学、厦门大学、东南大学等知名高等学府继续深造。
