Professor Low received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Monash University in 2016. He then worked at the Center for Advanced Separations Engineering at the University of Bath as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on microporous membrane aging and 3D printing (the SynFabFun project, £ 4.5 MM). In 2017, he co-founded 2D Water Pty Ltd, (Monash University spin-out, raised $ 6 MM) with Professor Huanting Wang (Monash University) and led as CEO before joining Nanjing Tech University as a Full Professor in 2022. Since 2018, he is also Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University, Australia, and part of the Monash University Chemical Engineering Industry Advisory Board, ARC Industrial Transformation Hub for Energy-Efficient Separation Industry Advisory Board, and MDPI Membranes topical advisory panel. He is also a member of the 2018 FYA Young Social Pioneers and MDPI Membranes guest editor for several special issues. Prior to joining Nanjing Tech University, he was a Partner Investigator of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Industrial Transformation Hub Grant ($ 1.7 MM). He has published over 60 papers to date, including Chemical Reviews, Angewandte Chemie, Journal of Membrane Science, Chemical Engineering Journal, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Communication, Nanoscale, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces etc. Among the papers are 2 ESI highly cited papers and 1 with an Almetric Attention Score of 150. He has total citations of >2950, an h-index of 29, and an i10-index of 44 based on Google Scholar.
男,博士,教授。2016年毕业于澳大利亚Monash University获得化学工程系博士学位,2015至2017年于英国Center for Advanced Separations Engineering,University of Bath从事博士后研究工作。2018年协同澳大利亚Monash University王焕庭院士共同创立了蒙纳士大学子公司2D Water,并担任首席执行官职务带领公司将石墨烯膜技术产业化。同时任澳大利亚Monash University 兼职高级研究员,化学工程行业委员会顾问, 澳大利亚国家基金委Australian Research Council (ARC) 节能分离产业转型中心咨询委员会顾问,及MDPI Membranes专题顾问委员会成员。2018年当选澳大利亚社会青年先锋人物,多次任MDPI Membranes特刊客座编辑。迄今已在Chemical Reviews、Angewandte Chemie、Journal of Membrane Science、Chemical Engineering Journal、Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research、 Journal of Materials Chemistry A、Chemical Communication、Nanoscale、ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces等国际学术期刊发表SCI论文60余篇,第一作者ESI高被引论文2篇,Almetric Attention Score为148分的论文1篇,总被引用次数达2950次,h指数29。

Professor Low’s research focuses on the development of energy-efficient pressure-driven and electro-driven membrane technologies based on microporous materials, targeting desalination, water treatment, resource recovery, and air purification.
目前从事基于微孔材料的节能膜技术设计与开发研究,应用于海水淡化,水处理,资源回收和空气净化等领域。
